Revitalised Bickley house front with uPVC window and Composite door combo

Just in time for the upcoming frosty season, the Albion Windows team recently paid a visit to Bickley. Located within the South East district of London, this wasn’t the first time we’d provided our services in the area, being called upon to help one homeowner futureproof their property using a full uPVC window set and Solidor composite entrance. The result was a classically-styled home that could enjoy 21st century performance and security going forward.

Low-maintenance uPVC windows finished in gorgeous Black woodgrain

Ensuring this homeowner’s Bickley house front would never be subject to frequent draughts, rattles, and poor insulation ever again, we replaced the existing timber frames with efficient uPVC alternates. They improve upon historical timber every time thanks to resistance to warping, cracking, and no need to ever varnish.

Though modern in every sense of the word, the team took extra special care when supplying the house with their new window sets to make them as traditional-looking as possible. Essential to maintain the home’s warmly sense of character, all were fitted using frames coloured with a Black woodgrain finish. The windows are sleek enough to let in light and provide glorious outside views, but suitably fashioned for the property style too.

Highly-secure composite door complete with side panels

Once done with the various window sets around the property, our team got to work installing the attractive centrepiece that was a Solidor composite door. The pinnacle of entrance door security and efficiency thanks to compound makeup and multi-layered construction, composite doors offer unprecedented levels of insulation. Such a unit made sense for this project due to the panel’s inherently vintage look.

Both the property’s composite and corresponding door panels would treat the building to an extra layer of defence in the event of attack. All were finished in an Eternal Oak colour tone, fully leaning into the authentic aesthetics established by the previous door unit albeit with some infinitely superior practical features. Both side panels integrated side lights, letting any natural light shine through.

Another happy homeowner made possible with Albion Windows

Following completion, this local Bickley homeowner could enjoy a warmer, and much more stylish home for many years to come. The project was completed on time and on budget thanks to the professionalism of our team and co-operation with the customer. We only ever emphasis a first-class service in all residential projects we undertake. This renovation is just the latest example.
