You may have received a letter recently regarding the liquidation of Enterprise Insurance Company. This was the company that has provided Insurance Backed Guarantees through DGCOS (The Double Glazing & Conservatory Quality Assurance Ombudsman Scheme) who previously provided our guarantees.
Please be assured that this does not affect any guarantees you have on work completed by Albion Windows. We have been advised that any future claims on your guarantee will not be affected as the DGCOS have an alternative insurer. Therefore, any guarantees that you already have are still valid due to protection policies put in place by the Government. If you do need to make a claim you can still do so normally.
The letter sent out by the liquidator was not particularly clear but they are obligated to send it out to any policyholders of the affected company. We would like to reassure all of our customers that the liquidation is in no way connected to Albion Windows and will not affect any of our products or your guarantees.
